President Ethan Waltermire called the meeting to order at
12:30.
Members Present: Ethan Waltermire, Jim Bruce, Mary Loring,
Pat Conine, Karin Paxton-Gray, Mike Dideriksen, Marilyn Milhous, Annette
Miller, Sharon Bokan, and Diedra Peck.
Secretary's report: Minutes from April 13, 2005 were
submitted by Diedra Peck. Annette moved to accept and Mary seconded the motion.
Motion passed.
Treasurer's report: Pat Conine presented report as of July
15th. FRSA has a total of 28 members, 9 Individual, 3 Support, 10 Sponsors and
6 Gold members. Karin motioned to accept, Mike seconded and motion passed.
Web page administrators report: Annette will fix/clean up
the contact names.Mary pointed out that all of the Anna Lute winner are
pictured with a little write-up, except for Annette! Mary will help to finish
the commentary for Annette.there is a new link for the IBPGR on the website
under the "Resource Center"
It is the Handbook of Seed Technology for Gennebanks Vol II", a
compendium of specific germination information and test recommendations.
Old Business
A retirement party for Loren Wiesner has been postponed to
October. Pat will get a definite date set.
STEP Update:This years two week summer workshop was
cancelled due to low enrollment. It is planned to have the same program in July
2006.
