6:30 pm: Recognition Dinner for Dr. Arnold Larsen at Caninos Italian Restaurant.

At the dinner, Connie Ramirez  reminisced about Dr. Larsen's management of the Colorado Seed Lab.  Marilyn Milhous presented Dr. Larsen with a photo of the commemorative brick in CSU's Morgan Library.  FRSA donated money for books in Dr. Larsen's name.  The brick reads
"FRSA Honors Dr. A. Larsen"   Annette Miller announced the initiation of  a school outreach program dedicated to Dr. Larsen.  The program will provide seed discovery kits to teachers and students in middle school grades.   The program will be called "YOU NEED THE SEED."
